State Requirements for Educational Facilities, Chapter 4(1) states that..."a Board shall pre-qualify contractors for a one (1) year period or for a specific project."  In order to maintain an efficient and effective pre-qualification process, the Purchasing Department prequalifies contractors during the solicitation process for each District project.
