On March 17, 2009 the School Board approved the Local Business Preference Initiative #3. Part of this initiative includes the addition of the Capital Construction Project Manager Information to the District Website, so Local Businesses can locate and communicate with these firms regarding future business relationships. As a result of this approval, the Facilities and Maintenance Department is working together with the Purchasing Department to provide visitors to the District's website current construction project information. This web page lists current Capital Construction Projects and contact information for the Construction Management Firm that has been awarded the project. The award of a Capital Construction Project to a Construction Management Firm is approved by the School Board after a successful Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicitation and evaluation process. District staff follows a competitive selection process conducted by the District, pursuant to Florida Statutes, the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) requirements, and School Board Rules, policies and procedures. |
